Founder & Spiritual Leader
Apostle Rhonda M. Holloman
Apostle Rhonda M. Holloman has been carrying something in her hands since she was ten years old.
That year, at Rock Church in Virginia Beach under Bishop John Gimenez and Bishop Anne Gimenez, she spent a week planning how to slip away from her mother during the altar call. When it came, she was gone. She gave her life to the Lord, was baptized, and was filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. She knew that day that she was called to pastor. She was also handed, in the spirit, the first of four ancient keys. She would not understand what it opened for another twenty five years.
Three more keys followed. The Teacher's key in 1989, on the floor of her bedroom closet, her Bibles and study materials spread out around her. The Prophet's key in 1993. And in 2007, alone on a park bench, a beautiful gold ancient key placed in her hand by Jesus Himself, who sat down beside her in a glowing white robe and said, “I want you to feed My leaders.”
She did not walk into the apostolic office that day. She spent a year under the mentorship of the late Apostle Elizabeth Ray, who commissioned her as an Apostle in 2009. That space between the calling and the commissioning, and the woman who stood in it, is the reason The Apostle's Call exists.
She knows the other side of it as well. She has walked in the prophetic office for over thirty six years, and no one ever walked her through it. The house she came up in did prophetic things without ever being able to explain them, teach them, or mentor anyone in them. She learned that office alone, and she has spent her ministry making certain that the leaders coming behind her do not have to.
On June 6, 1999, she and her husband founded and established Christ Empowered Ministries, Inc. in Norfolk, Virginia, where she serves as Apostle, Co-Pastor, Teacher, and Praise and Worship Leader, and where she is also a prophetic psalmist and keyboardist. Under Christ Empowered Ministries, Ministers, Elders and Pastors have been established, and in 2023 she had the honor of commissioning her husband, Apostle Randy Holloman Sr., as an Apostle. She founded Apostle Rhonda Holloman Ministries, Inc. in 2009, a network for established and emerging leaders, the Apostolic School of Ministry in 2010, and Tea Time With The Apostle, Girl Talk for Christian Leadership, in 2023.
Apostle Rhonda is a Board Certified Biblical Counselor and a Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer, and Speaker. She holds an Associate's Degree in Theological Studies from Christian Bible College and Seminary and is currently studying toward a Professional Mental Health Coaching Certification. She is the author of the soon to be released Don't Forget Who You Are: A Spirit-Driven Recovery Guide for Every Christian Leader Who Has Lost Their Way and Needs to Find It Again.
As a world changer, her purpose is to help others realize their potential in God, and to inspire servant leadership.
She and her husband have three children, one with the Lord, and five grandchildren, and they live in the beautiful city of Chesapeake, Virginia. She enjoys reading, playing the keyboard, and singing the songs of Zion. She, her husband and their grandchildren are also avid skaters, and can often be found at Greenbrier Family Skating Center, where she plays the music and then takes to the floor, skating alongside the people and leading them into praise and worship as the Gospel Music DJ known as DJ Grandma.
In August of 2026, the Lord told her that if she called them, they would come. The Apostle's Call was birthed.
